The Invasion of 'The Girls'...

Allow us to introduce you to 'our girls',
Diva Louise (the white one on the left) and Her Majesty Thelma (the colorful one on the right).
We 'rescued' them from a life of misery and certain death from a neighbor's home when it was made obvious to us that they weren't being fed or cared for. We had planned initially just to have them 'fixed' so they would not be compelled to reproduce whilst roaming the neighborhood... however, one pitiful 'meow' from Louise and they stole our hearts. Now they have taken over our home and basically run our lives. Our floors are covered with small balls with bells inside and teeny catnip-filled, neon-colored mice that are their toys. They are obviously sisters from the same litter - though they now have very opposite personalities... Louise is a loving, playful kitty and her sister Thelma is a moody, temperamental, ankle-biter. We calculate their birth date in early April, 2005 which makes them a very frisky 5 months old.
I have never had kittens before but Jean obliged me by opening our home to these two terrors... did you know that cats play all hours of the night and sleep all day?!?!? I didn't... till now. Guess what girls?? You have a vet appointment to be 'fixed' in a couple of weeks!! Bet you calm down after that!! HA!
